Following a PhD in genetics at the Gurdon Institute at Cambridge University, John worked at the management consultancy ZS Associates advising clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, before moving to the Myrovlytis Trust.

Senior Research Manager: Sanjay Thakrar
After graduating from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Natural Sciences, Sanjay completed a PhD in epigenetics and stem cells at the University of Edinburgh, before becoming a Senior Research Manager at the Myrovlytis Trust.

Charity Officer: Lizzie Perdeaux
Following a PhD in epigenetics at the Babraham Institute at the University of Cambridge and a Post-Doc at the Institute of Cancer Research investigating the genetic susceptibility of Wilms Tumor, Lizzie joined the Myrovlytis Trust as a Charity Officer in October 2012.

Charity Officer: Vicki Colledge
After completing a degree in Biochemistry at the University of York, Vicki continued on to a PhD in the York Structural Biology Laboratory, before joining the Myrovlytis Trust in as a Charity Officer. Vicki is now the Facilitator for the Institute of Microbiology and Infection at the University of Birmingham.
Communications Officer and Administrator: Galina Shyndriayeva
Galina joined the Myrovlytis Trust in with an MSc in the History of Science, Medicine and Technology from Imperial College London, after completing a degree in French Literature and Classics from Harvard University. She is currently doing a PhD at the Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine.
Charity Officer: Duncan Azzopardi
Duncan joined the Myrovlytis Trust, having finished his PhD on colon cancer at the Institute of Medical Genetics at Cardiff University. Duncan went on to be the Research Portfolio Development Coordinator of Lung Research Wales.
