Structural characterisation of protein complexes important in Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome
Dr Ravi Nookala’s work focuses on the study of proteins involved in human cancers. Dr Nookala is currently solving the structure of Folliculin, the protein involved in BHD syndrome, and using the structure to determine Folliculin’s role in the cell.
Dr Nookala, a structural biologist, is a researcher in the lab of Professor Sir Tom Blundell in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, UK.
