Investigating the molecular basis of Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome
Professor Eamonn Maher is leading several projects in Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome. One, ‘Investigating the molecular basis of Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome’, is focused on learning more about how tumours form in BHD. The goal of another project is to research compounds with possible therapeutic potential in BHD syndrome.
Professor Maher is Professor of Medical Genetics at the University of Birmingham, UK.
