Development of virus- and cell-based targeting platforms for renal gene therapy
Dr Justin Roth is collaborating with Professor Andrew Baker and Dr Laura Denby from the University of Glasgow, to develop kidney-specific adenoviral vectors. Researchers would then be able to use these vectors to specifically target kidney genes.
Dr Roth is a senior researcher in the Division of Human Gene Therapy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
